Back to the grind

Not that I ever actually left the grind to begin with. Book 1 was released. You tell yourself, I'm not going to check those downloads, just going to stick to working on the next novel. Then launch week hits and the mouse is eagerly clicking that refresh button, with eyes aglow. What an amazing launch it was too, with so much love from new fans. We had over seven hundred novels downloaded! Not much to a big shot, but for me, with my first book out, it was really encouraging! This author is humbled by all that love. Now to keep my mind focused on Book II, Land of the Giants. My fingers have just been typing away, plucking the next chapter in the Chronicles of Acadia from my mind to the empty page. This scrivener is in the final leg of the journey and it is getting exciting!
